On completion of the e-Learning Series, members may contact FCVic to apply for a Certificate of Completion: Foundations of Small Business Financial Counselling e-Learning Series.

Before commencing the first module, please click here to read important information about accessing the e-Learning.

The accompanying Resource Index is a compilation of useful reference material and webinar recordings from the whole e-Learning Series. This will continue to be updated and added to over time. Users should be aware that content covered in the Resource Index will be relevant to modules that are yet to be released.

UPDATE (28 July 2021): We are excited to announce that the next section of our Foundations of Small Business Financial Counselling e-Learning Series is out now and ready for you to use. From this week, you can now access and complete Module 4: Insolvency. This module provides learners with an introduction to small business insolvency, including a summary of insolvency indicators and warning signs. It outlines the five main insolvency pathways, including voluntary administration, liquidation and receivership, and also examines two new (as at January 1st, 2021) insolvency options for small business.

As with previous modules, it is not necessary to have completed Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the e-Learning Series before you begin Module 4.

Please click the course schedule below to see what topics will be covered in each of the 4 parts of the series. A final part to the series, to be released soon, will provide a conclusion and supplementary resources. In addition, the Resource Index is currently in review, and a more user-friendly version will be released soon.

Please note that unreleased modules remain subject to change.
