Julie Barrow
Julie joined Financial Counselling Victoria (FCVic) in September 2021. She has a passion for supporting the work of financial counsellors with a particular emphasis on supporting the continued growth of the profession.
As a qualified financial counsellor, Julie has worked both in generalist and family violence financial counselling. She held the positions of Treasurer and Chair of the FCVic Board (2015-2019) and has also held positions on the Financial Counselling Australia (FCA) Representative Council and Director on the FCA Board.
She was the national representative on the Australian Security and Investments Commission Consumer Advisory Panel (2018-2020).
Julie has also worked with FCA in disaster recovery and family violence and continues to provide group supervision nationally to financial counsellors working in family violence.
Julie also works as a Professional Supervisor with financial counsellors across Australia.
Outside of work, Julie loves travelling to warmer places and spending time with family and friends.
