Small Business Debt Helpline

Phone service available 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

The Small Business Debt Helpline was set up in 2020 by Financial Counselling Australia (FCA) with funding from the Australian Government to support small business owners affected by bushfires. The Helpline is now supporting all small business owners.

Financial counsellors can contact the Helpline for secondary consults.

SSRV worker advice line

Social Security Rights Victoria (SSRV) Worker Advice Line: 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Thursday.

SSRV lawyers can provide specialist information, advice and legal support in relation to matters such as:

  • eligibility for pensions and allowances
  • medical evidence and other information required for applications
  • Centrelink overpayments and debts
  • suspension or cancellation of payments
  • family violence and social security
  • appealing Centrelink decisions

They may also:

  • invite you to make a warm referral of your client to SSRV for further legal assistance
  • offer resources and training to you and your colleagues
