FCVic was thrilled to launch our Digital Transformation Roadmap at our 2026 Conference in Albert Park and online via livestream. We launched the Roadmap with our project partner, the Financial Counsellors’ Association of NSW (FCAN), and technology partner, Infoxchange.
We thank everyone who attended the launch at the Conference and online. We are incredibly grateful for your support and interest.
The Digital Transformation Roadmap and a video of the launch are now available.
As you know from previous updates, FCVic, FCAN, and Infoxchange have been working together since November 2025 to develop the Digital Transformation Roadmap, a project made possible by an Innovation Seed Grant from the Financial Counselling Industry Fund.
The Roadmap is delivered across three practical volumes:
- Volume 1: Introduction, Executive Summary, and AI Sector Use Cases Report.
- Volume 2: AI Ethics Framework for Financial Counselling.
- Volume 3: Financial Counselling Systems Landscape Report and Appendix.
FCVic’s work is effective because we have close connections with our members, agency leaders, and other stakeholders. We would like to thank all members of the project reference group:
- Jo Parker, Executive Officer, FCAN and project partner.
- Keith Smith, Director Digital Transformation, Meli.
- Jennifer Freshwater, now-retired financial counsellor.
- Barbara Bard, Team Manager/Clinical Lead, Financial and Gambling Counsellor, Lifeline Central West / Far & Western NSW.
- Jenna Conway-Jones, Manager Financial Counselling, Knowmore legal service.
- Rovind Kant, Team Leader, Social & Community Mission Moneycare, The Salvation Army Australia Territory.
- Rob Benton, Financial Counsellor, National Debt Helpline (NSW).
- Graeme Parsons, Financial Counsellor, Cancer Council Victoria.
- Chelsea Hughes, Head of Supportive Care Programs, Strategy and Support, Cancer Council Victoria.
- Danielle Wills, Manager, Performance, Funding & Reporting, Community Programs, Consumer Affairs Victoria.
We thank the reference group members for dedicating their time to the Digital Transformation Roadmap project, beyond their already full and meaningful workloads.
We offer our deep gratitude to our outstanding project collaborators at Infoxchange: James Happell, Sophie Souchon, and Savanna Thomas.
We also offer special recognition and gratitude to Georgina Molloy, who was the previous Projects Coordinator at FCVic. Georgina brilliantly and diligently coordinated the Digital Transformation Roadmap project to its successful completion.
FCVic is now working to promote the Digital Transformation Roadmap and to map our plan for supporting its adoption by the sector. You will be hearing more about our work in this space in the coming weeks and months.
