Financial Counselling in your language video series

  • FCVic

FCVic is pleased to announce that our new videos series, Financial Counselling in your language, is now live on YouTube. We hope that this video series can be used to reach CALD communities who are often at increased risk of financial hardship, yet who may be hesitant to engage with financial counselling.

This series introduces and explains what a financial counsellor is and how to get in touch in 12 languages; Arabic (العربية); Chinese Simplified (简体中文); Chinese Traditional (繁體中文); Dinka; Filipino/Tagalog; Hindi (हिन्दी); Japanese (日本語); Korean (한국어); Nepali (नेपाली); Spanish (Español); Turkish (Türkçe); and Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt).

The video format is simple – a financial counsellor explaining what they do and how they can help, in a language the viewer will find familiar and engaging. All videos are subtitled for increased accessibility.

The videos form part of a new library of translated resources to make information and assistance more accessible to a greater number of clients. We will continue to update this library with new resources – such as videos and factsheets – as they become available.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the financial counsellors who have assisted us in creating this series, and we look forward to adding more community languages in future.

See the promotional preview below, or click here to access the library of translated resources, including the full video series.
