Amanda Chan joined FCVic at the start of 2024 as Advocacy Coordinator, bringing 15 years of experience across the social services sector. She has worked in community legal centres, women’s rights organisations, disability service organisations, and membership associations. Currently studying a Diploma of Financial Counselling, she feels passionate about supporting the important work of financial counsellors by amplifying the voices of those working on the frontline to create social and policy change.

Outside of the workplace, you will typically find Amanda on a bike, curled up with a book that fulfils at least three romantic tropes, nabbing a bargain at an op shop, or dancing to K-pop with her daughter.
