Georgina joined FCVic in November 2024 as Projects Coordinator.

Georgina has worked for around 8 years in community legal centres across Australia, and has been a lawyer for over 15 years. Most recently, Georgina was a Principal Lawyer and Manager at Justice Connect in Melbourne. Georgina was previously based in Perth, at the specialist community legal centre, Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) where she worked as a lawyer and consumer advocate. Before moving to the community sector, Georgina was originally trained as a corporate lawyer and spent over 6 years working in Melbourne and Singapore in an international law firm.

Georgina is passionate about financial rights and is delighted to be working at FCVic in this projects role. Outside of work, Georgina spends lots of time watching/ferrying her kids to play sport, and enjoys bushwalking, family bike rides and reading novels.
