FCVic Strategic Plan 2025-28
In early 2025, the FCVic Board engaged specialist consultant Matt Gaffney from Enindico to guide the development of a new Strategic Plan for the organisation. Through a process of consultation – drawing on interviews and workshops with key stakeholders – the FCVic Board refined the organisation’s purpose statement and established a series of aspirational goals.
FCVic’s new Strategic Plan sets a clear direction for the next three years, centred on strengthening financial counselling in Victoria and ensuring vulnerable communities have access to sustainable financial outcomes.
The Plan focuses on four interconnected areas: resourcing, relationships, people, and advocacy. By 2028, FCVic aims to secure enduring and diversified funding for the sector; foster a strong member-led culture and trusted partnerships; support the recruitment, development and retention of talented staff; and deliver data-driven, systemic advocacy that creates meaningful change.
This Plan reflects FCVic’s commitment to supporting our members, amplifying their voices, and working collaboratively with agencies, industry, and government to build a sustainable and accessible financial counselling sector for all Victorians.
