This will be an applied session, using a case study to issue spot and explore ways to assist consumers living with disabilities to assert their rights in relation to NDIS service providers. It is designed to follow-on from the NDIS overview session delivered on March 28, however attendance at that session is NOT a pre-requisite.
Upon completion of this session participants will be able to:
- Identify common consumer law issues in NDIS matters, including issues with service agreements
- Identify NDIS-related debt
- Be aware of how and where to make complaints about NDIS consumer law and debt issues
