One of the questions we are seeking to answer is: Will AFCA accept complaints about members that provide debt management services, where the underlying debt / default / listing was non-credit? The distress that victim survivors of family violence experience can be exacerbated by complex and lengthy interactions with Centrelink when pursuing the recovery of debt that was itself wholly or partly attributable to the violence. Similarly, it can be distressing when Centrelink treats people experiencing family violence as being a member of a couple with the perpetrator of the violence.
In this session recording presenter has provided information about how our social security system addresses family violence issues, the common challenges people face when raising family violence issues within our social security system, and how the system itself may be used as a tool for people to perpetrate economic family violence.

In May 2020, the FCVic Board made a number of enquiries into professional indemnity insurance options for professional supervisors who provide supervision external to their agency.
