Ethical dilemmas in casework
- 1-2 hrs
- 1 CPD points
- Skills, Ethics
In this session, we have looked at ethical dilemmas that financial counsellors face in their roles. We analysed what is required of us by our code of ethics and how to apply that in real-life scenarios. Special guest, Senior Philosopher, Tim Dean from the Ethics Centre will join us as we discuss different case studies that require ethical decision-making.
Also, presenters have differentiated between ethical boundary crossings and ethical boundary violations and consider what is in the best interest of our client. We have encouraged discussion amongst participants and considered different views on how to respond to the presented ethical dilemmas.
